Home Battered Chicken Tenders

Yield: 6 servings



Heat fryer oil to 350 degrees. Rinse chicken and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt.

Combine flour, ranch seasoning, 1 tsp salt and pepper in a wide mixing bowl. Pour buttermilk in separate mixing bowl. Dip each tenderloin in buttermilk, then dredge in flour mixture.

Deep fry for 7 minutes or until golden.

*No buttermilk? Substitute 2 tablespoons lemon juice and enough milk to make 2 cups.
